Her name is Zulu, her exotic looks spring from a
Zimbabwean father and a Japanese mother and she grew up in America
- so Nokuthula Ngwenyama is a real citizen of the world ... Her
repertoire is rich and varied. Her debut recitals in New York and
Washington, DC in 1995, when she was only 19, drew ecstatic responses:
the New York Times described her as "an assured player with
a solid and at times dazzling technique." Her name may sound
difficult but it's worth memorizing.
