MinJin became the youngest scholar ever to be accepted at the Purcell School of Music in London at the age of seven. She won the Premier Mozart International competition in Italy at the age of eleven and the following year made her debut as violin soloist with the Berlin Symphony Orchestra in Lalo's Symphonie Espagnole.
