"Dr. Billy Taylor and Bunnett discussed her first curiosity with the flute, saxophone and jazz music. Bunnett says she initially picked up the flute in her last year in high school because she wanted an easy credit. She "acquired" the soprano saxophone while attending York University. She broke her ankle on campus and instead of suing the school, she persuaded them to pay for a soprano saxophone that she'd been eyeing at the music store.
