| At the age of 18, Charlotte's family moved from Sweden to Wisconsin. It didn't take long for Charlotte to get utterly frustrated in her new environment. It was Wisconsin, after all. After high school she moved to Paris where she took voice lessons with a teacher who wore a huge turban, and whom she describes as somewhat crazy: "I thought she was about to kill me. Good I escaped her, because she tried to make me a soprano. That hurt!" |
